Shoddysocks exists to prove that high-performance products can be made locally from what already exists. It is a circular sock system built around recovered fibre, spun and knitted in England, designed to deliver the technical benefits of Merino while radically reducing waste and transport. The project challenges the assumption that sustainability requires compromise.
Developed inside RandomLab, Shoddysocks is a live experiment in regenerative manufacturing — testing supply chains, materials and commercial models in real time. It exists to demonstrate that small, focused, well-made essentials can reshape how we think about value, durability and responsibility.
